Delightful Apple Pie! Step One : Get on your Motorcycle and head out to the local orchard on a picture perfect day. Make sure to fill your sidecar w/as many Competent pickers as you can comfortably manage. Step 2 : Get your team on board for tasting and picking the best apples. Step 3 :get them home and wash them well..(the apples & the kids) Step 4 : make some Awesome Apple pie Filling for 1 pie Cut up 5-8  apples (depending on size) we used; mcCoun, gala, and honeycrisp Saute in a large skillet w/ 3-4 tbsp butter Add 1/2 cup sugar Add some shakes of cinnamon.. Keep shuffling those apples around until they are so fragrant you must taste it (around 7 minutes).. It's probably done. Step 5 : Pour it out of the skillet on to a cookie sheet to cool to room temperature. What you've got is the perfect consistancy now for ( Step 6 )pouring into your favorite double pie crust. Or on top of ice cream, or inside pastry puffs, or on your oatmeal. Anyway.....

     Today, a Very Special Client of mine had asked, after becoming a Reiki Practitioner, "Why does a my client seem to "hurt more" after a Reiki Treatment?" Mind you, this is not the norm, usually a client has an overwhelming sense of peace, relaxation, a subsiding symptom (or absence of sypmtoms) and sometimes even Euphoria... However, I have seen this strange phenomeon, especially with "buried" hurts, injuries, old wounds, and the like... Here's What I have noticed with all healing in general.. • “Things” come “up” to heal.. Weather it’s physical, like pain w/Reiki.. • Or Emotional, like “the Past” coming “up” when a pattern is activated.. • Or Spiritual, like when a crucial choice needs to be made, or the suffering that comes along with a bad choice.      Angels have come to play in the Goddess Shoppe!  We've invited them in with lovely Statuary and ornaments, books and oracles this past Holiday Season.  They started showing up during my private and group Reiki sessions, they started speaking to Ginger. (she now does Angel Readings , if you are interested.). So last week, instead of our regular meditation practice, our Goddess Experience Group did an 'active' meditation, to connect with the Angels.  After four weeks of meditation, and intuition building excercises, we were all comfortable with our inner knowing.  Most People have a warm-fuzzy feeling when they think about Angels or see angel imagery, so I figured this would be OK to spring on everyone..
