Does Reiki Hurt?

Today, a Very Special Client of mine had asked, after becoming a Reiki Practitioner,
"Why does a my client seem to "hurt more" after a Reiki Treatment?"
Mind you, this is not the norm, usually a client has an overwhelming sense of peace, relaxation, a subsiding symptom (or absence of sypmtoms) and sometimes even Euphoria...
However, I have seen this strange phenomeon, especially with "buried" hurts, injuries, old wounds, and the like...

Here's What I have noticed with all healing in general..

• “Things” come “up” to heal.. Weather it’s physical, like pain w/Reiki..
• Or Emotional, like “the Past” coming “up” when a pattern is activated..
• Or Spiritual, like when a crucial choice needs to be made, or the suffering that comes along with a bad choice.

The Pain associated with the recipient of Reiki usually subsides, very quickly and a profound “feeling better than before” feeling will replace it..

Using Reiki on the Heart chakra and crown chakra at the same time, is one of my favorite techniques for transmuting most “pain”..however it manifests..

Energetic Healing is happening, and as a practitioner, paradoxically ..it’s none of your business (!) ..Volunteering or being hired to facilitate a Reiki healing, it’s important to remember to let ego get out of the way, so that Reiki may flow..
          Trust & Faith that your
             • intention to help
             • the intelligence of the Universal life force of Reiki
             • your(and your clients) guides
          are working together in concert..
Give more Reiki to the client if you can, if not, check in with them, and encourage them to drink lots of water and make time for contemplation..
This is their Journey...
